You are invited to participate in a research study examining how musical background may relate to preferences for different historical eras of the classical music genre. This study is being conducted as an instructor-approved IRB protocol under Research Design & Statistics II at Southern Adventist University.
Procedure: You will answer a few demographic questions, then listen to 18 short musical excerpts (each under 20 seconds). After each excerpt, you will indicate your level of familiarity with it and rate how much you like or dislike it. The survey should take approximately 10–15 minutes.
Confidentiality: Your responses are completely anonymous. No personally identifiable information is collected, and results will be reported only as group data.
Risks: There are no known risks beyond those of everyday life.
Voluntary participation: Participation is entirely voluntary. You may close this page at any time and stop participation without penalty.
